I am a mother of two rambunctious, amazing young men who regardless of how I am feeling in the midst of a debate over which video game-creating tool is the best or the next best meme, are amazing kids! I am fortunate to have found my soul mate, and my best friend who is also my husband of almost 20 years, although we have known each other for over 26 years. We enjoy spending time with our kids, going on adventures, and learning something new each and every day. I also battle a chronic disease so am continually delving into lifestyle adaptions that will help, so I will be sharing food and recipes and wholesome goodness with you all.
I was an educator for almost 20 years, focused primarily on High School teaching English, Social Studies, Drama, and Art, and any course option in those areas. I also dabbled in the administrative side of things, and curriculum development. As I exited education my final role was as a principal for a campus of a blended-learning charter school. I now devote my professional time as a writer, creator, and artistic mind. I currently work for a DIY blogger, crafter, and youtube helping to create online curriculum and content as I work on my first book writing adventure.
I am moving towards developing my skills as a writer, sharing my experiences, and knowledge on life, and living more sustainably. Looking forward to using this blog as a way to share my ideas and hopefully empty some of the mental file cabinets.
